Position: US Tax Team Lead

About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced US Tax Team Lead with strong expertise in US taxation to manage our tax team and client projects. The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of US federal tax returns, compliance, and leadership skills to guide a team effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of tax associates, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Review and prepare US tax returns, including Forms 1065, 1120, 1120S, 1040, 1041, and 990.
- Manage client engagements, deadlines, and compliance requirements.
- Provide tax planning strategies and advisory services.
- Ensure compliance with IRS regulations and US GAAP.
- Liaise with clients for queries, updates, and reporting.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in US taxation.
- Strong knowledge of tax preparation software (e.g., Drake, ProSystem, QuickBooks, etc.).
- Leadership and team management experience.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
